Last week I reported that Province owner/chef Randy Zweiban was opening a new resto in the West Loop.
Turns out I was wrong and while it's true he's working on a second location, it's in Phoenix, Ariz.!
Reads the press release dropped in my mailbox this morning:
"Province is pleased to announce plans to open a second location in
Phoenix, Arizona. Chef Randy Zweiban will be crafting his signature
local, seasonal and bold-flavored fare at the new Westin Downtown
Phoenix.
"'Our commitment to environmental sustainability, including
our LEED Gold certification in Chicago, has been a guiding principal for
Province from the beginning, and we look forward to prioritizing
environmental responsibility as we expand and grow,' says Chef
Zweiban."
