Chicago Restaurant Week(s) Return!
Brace yourself.
A slew of local restaurants are set to participate this winter in a number of events meant to celebrate Chicago's vibrant dining scene.
First up is West Town's first-ever Dining Around event, happening Jan. 15-mid-March. Popular Near West Side spots like Arami, Leopold and Ruxbin will add special dishes to their menus and diners get "passports" to track their eating adventures. They'll be able to use the passports for special dining deals in the future.
Next is Chicago Originals Restaurant Week, which has been going on for a few years. That happens Jan. 23-Feb. 4, and you'll be able to order from multi-course degustation menus for $29.12. Participating restaurants include the likes of Cafe Bernard, Kiki's Bistro and Mizu Yakitori & Sushi Lounge.
And the city-sponsored Chicago Restaurant Week, which is in its fifth year, happens Feb. 17-26.
More than 200 restaurants in Chicago participate with prix fixe menus at $22, $33 and $44.
There's a ton going on this winter!
