The hot restaurant group that's behind such winners as Au Cheval, Gilt Bar and Maude's Liquor Bar apparently is going Asian.
My source tells me to expect a very small and intimate Ramen Bar below Gilt in January. The spot will serve noodles, whiskey, beer and pork buns.
There will be no reservations, and seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. No word yet on how this will affect Curio, the speakeasy-style cocktail lounge currently in that space ...
