More modern tacos come to Wicker Park to compete with stalwarts Big Star and Antique Taco with the arrival of Takito Kitchen in March.

In addition to these tacos (they're keeping the magic under wraps for now), the owners plan to unveil a serious mixology program with Adam Weber behind the stick. He previously worked at Mercadito and Trenchermen.

Here's an exclusive, first look at some of Weber's innovative new cocktails:

El Jefe is a stirred elixir that's meant for sipping, and Weber says it is not for the novice drinker. It consists of Mezcal, coffee liqueur and fresh ginger.

The Blood Orange Takito-rita will be one of the seasonal margaritas. It's made with orange liqueur, agave nectar, blood orange puree and 100 percent blue agave tequila.

The Tamarindo is made with fresh cilantro, chipotle peppers, tamarind juice and cocoa-infused tequila.
