So Very, Very Hot Right Now.

It's been a strange, trippy road for "Mad Men" this year, and now the 1960s-based series concludes its sixth season on Sunday.
If you're looking to celebrate with like-minded folks, the glamorous Gold Coast hotel PUBLIC Chicago seems the appropriate place with its luxe, retro setting.

Home to Pump Room, the hotel's been hosting "Mad Men" viewing parties all season long, so this one should be especially fun. Guests will view the season's final episode in the screening room while noshing on 1960s-inspired canapes and cocktails. A deejay will spin retro tunes to complement the mood. It's $25 per person and fans are encouraged to dress up in period attire. It's 7-10pm. You can make a reservation by email.

Our friends at Thrillist Chicago want you to have the Best Day of Your Life on June 21. They've mappped out the perfect itinerary, from coffee at Bow Truss to cocktails on J. Parker's rooftop.

Tony Hu's glamorous, Chinese-focused eatery, Lao 18, is now open. Our favorite cocktail is something you won't find on the menu. Tell your server that you want Tony's Special, a concoction made of bourbon, black peppercorns, Chinese peppercorns, fresh blackberries and simple syrup. It's garnished with red chile pepper, blackberries and mint.
