'Chicagoans Against Graham Elliot' DELETED!

The Chicagoans Against Graham Elliot Facebook page that 312DD was the first to write about Friday has been deleted!

Or perhaps it's now a "secret" group on Facebook. Methinks the mysterious disappearance had to do with additional media coverage today from GrubStreet and Eater.

UPDATE: According to graham elliot general manager Michael Simon (owner/chef Graham Elliot Bowles was on vacation), the guy behind the Facebook page definitely deleted it.

"He was probably getting all sorts of hate mail today because we got national coverage from the likes of Eater," says Simon. "We loved that he did it in the first place because it brought us all types of free publicity."

My question is: Why is everyone allowing dude to remain in anonymity?! If he had the King Kong balls to create the site, he should've been man enough to post his name and photo. No wonder he deleted that page!

  1. Honestly, I am so turned off by GE's smugness and sense of superiority. I know the food's good, and that should really be all that matters, but I hate the attitude.
First Yelp, now this. If you're so far above it, actually rise above it.
    Grow up, Graham.
