Master mixologist Adam Seger's "pop-up gastropub" was so popular when he did it at Lush Wine & Spirits back in May that he's returned for an encore this weekend.
This time, he's teamed up with Tim Graham (former exec chef at Paris Club, according to GrubStreet Chicago) for an event in the West Town Lush location.
Graham and Seger worked together back in the day at Tru, so this is a reunion of sorts. The concept will provide diners with an opportunity to enjoy experimental cocktails and food pairings, expertly crafted by the duo. In crafting the dishes and drinks, Seger and Graham reversed the usual culinary process, having Seger create the cocktail/spirit first, followed by Graham developing a dish to complement.
It's 6-10pm Saturday and Sunday, with reservations highly recommended by contacting the restaurant right here. It's $49 per person; or $9 for each tasting portion.
