Props to the Boka boys

BOKA celebrates its fifth annivesary on Monday with a blowout feast. It's no surprise coming from this progressive American eatery that's managed to stay relevant in an area with some of the most fickle diners in town.

Earlier this year, partner/executive chef Giuseppe Tentori snagged a 2008 Best New Chef honor by Food & Wine magazine, so it'll be interesting to see what's up with this multi-course meal that includes braised Kobe short ribs with grits, a poached Tasmanian ocean trout and smoked duck with foie gras terrine. The dinner's paired with wines of Hendry Ranch Winery in Napa Valley.

Event occurs Monday, Sept. 15 at 7pm. $150.
