R&B hottie hits Redno after show
Ummm, just got word that mega soul superstar Robin Thicke will host an after-party at Rednofive following his concert at Arie Crown Theater.
Party happens 10pm-5am Saturday, but who knows when he'll show up . . . $20.
Brunch & Books . . .
How sweet is this?!
Gale Gand, celeb pastry chef and co-owner of Tru, hosts a brunch and booksigning event for her new tome, Gale Gand's Brunch!, at edgy Bucktown eatery, The Bristol.
We randomly stumbled upon the brunch info during a long overdue outing to Bristol over the weekend, where we checked in on executive chef Chris Pandel's wild interpretations on wild game, including braised goat pasta, goat brain ravioli and duck fat fries.

Don't expect dishes that way out there for Gand's brunch; he'll be working in several of the items from her book like the Baked Eggs in Ham Cups. That event happens noon-2pm on May 17. $37. Reservations highly recommended.
Someone needs anger management . . .
So. Over the weekend, 312DD posted this little Twitter status update:
"I hate to be a bit of a b*tch, but if you refuse to follow ANYONE on Twitter, you don't deserve any props from me. Yeah, I said it!"
And less than 30 minutes later got this totally unexpected comment on my Facebook page from the irascible executive chef Graham Elliot Bowles:
"Wow, looks like someone needs get a grip and find some new shit worry about!"
Seriously?! Is this how a highly regarded chef acts? This is a guy we've been tracking since he opened his eponymous, cutting-edge eatery in River North last year around this time. So, what is really going on here?
Took at look at his Twitter account and indeed he is not following anyone, so maybe, just maybe there's a bit of a guilty conscience there . . .
Is someone so vain he thought that Tweet was about him?!
