Urban Burger Bar, Sono Wood Fired Opening Soon

If you've been wondering what's going on at that construction site at North and Clybourn, 312DD's got the scoop for ya.
Look for Urban Burger Bar and its adjacent Sono Wood Fired to open in the Clybourn Corridor by the end of July.
We're especially excited because owner/chef John McLean—a longtime Levy Restaurants vet—is spotlighting his signature "stacked" burgers, which are hand-crafted half-pounders composed of grass-fed beef, house-ground chicken, turkey, pork and tuna.
Soon, you'll be able to dig into such standouts as the High Hog (BBQ pork burger with Applewood smoked bacon, ham, Wisconsin white cheddar and apple-cabbage slaw) Da Blue (double stacker with thick cut bacon and blue cheese) and the Golden Ox, an ode to the classic German restaurant previously housed in the space. It's made with Thüringer sausage, Bavarian sauerkraut and Wisconsin Swiss.

Urban Burger Bar will also offer more than 60 craft beers and a number of thick, creamy handmade milkshakes.
Sister restaurant Sono Wood Fired will feature two distinct pizzas: pizza rossa or pizza bianco, which will change seasonally. Ingredients will also be sourced from local farms, dairies and ranches.
In addition to the wood-fired pizzas, guests will be able to order a number of handmade pastas, antipasti, and New World wines priced reasonably by the bottle.
