Party With Chicago's Celeb Chefs For Free!

This is the biggest chef-focused fete of the year, and you don't want to miss it.

312DD doesn't want you to miss out on going to Meals on Wheels' Celebrity Chef Ball either—which raises enough money for more than 70,000 meals for elderly and disabled residents throughout Chicago—so I've worked out a way for you to win free tickets.

Two lucky readers will win a pair of tickets each to this amazing ball that's hosted on Oct. 15 at Macy's on State Street (111 N. State St.) by Stephanie Izard (Girl & The Goat), Jimmy Bannos Jr. (Purple Pig) and Rick Gresh (David Burke's Primehouse). All you have to do is answer this question:

Where did the very first Celebrity Chef Ball take place, what year and name two celebrity chefs who participated.

I will select two random entries with the correct answers on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Please email answers to igrooveon@gmail.com.

In the meantime, you can buy tickets to the Celebrity Chef Ball right here. Choose from the Dine Around (8pm-12:30am/$100) for dozens of chef stations, open bar, gaming table and live music; or The Chef's Table (6pm-12:30am/$300) for an interactive seated dining experience and Dine Around event.
