Bangers & Lace: Lively music, log cabin-themed washrooms, lace-covered windows and hipsters with grizzly beards! Gotta also love the inventive budget bites (brioche corn-battered dog, truffled grilled cheese, lamb flatbread) you can pair with the daily updated beer menu. That list's so awesome that they'll let you sample whatever you want in a nice sized shot glass.
Benny's Chop House: Grab the kids and get thee to the tony River North steakhouse for generous deals 3-7pm every Sunday. Each child (per paying adult) eats for free from a menu that includes Chef Jonathan's Chicken Noodle Soup, all-natural chicken fingers, petite filet with fries, classic cheeseburger, and an ice cream sundae with chocolate sauce.
Chief O'Neill's: They're offering all types of drinking deals during Sunday's Bears/Packers game, and at halftime you'll want to be in line for the complimentary buffet featuring everything you can imagine. Also, $2 Bud drafts and $4 Guinness.
Crocodile Lounge: If you drink every day, you can also eat free every day at this Wicker Park bar offering a comped six-inch Margherita pizza (toppings will cost you extra) for every drink you buy.
The Fifty/50: The highlight of the Bears/Packers party at this rowdy sports bar will be a giant Bleeding Heart Bakery bear cake—clad in a Chicago Bears jersey—tearing apart a wheel of cheese and also shooting real fire out of its mouth. Slices of the cake will be passed out during halftime. Also, the first 100 patrons to arrive at the bar will get "Green Bay Sucks" t-shirts. Doors open at 10am Sunday.
Provenance Food and Wine: Get ready for the Mini-Bacon Fest happening at the Logan Square location. Baconfest organizers host and guests get to sample bacon snacks from Rich Chocolates & Candies, Brand BBQ and Spencer’s Jolly Posh British & Irish Foods, as well as Expedition Wines. Red & White: Every Saturday, you can count on beer and/or wine tastings at this slick spirits shop on the edge of Wicker Park. 2-5pm Saturdays.
