Is Dirty Betty's The Next Doughnut Vault?!

Looks like Doughnut Vault is getting some competition as Lincoln Park's Cookie Bar jumps into the doughnut-making biz.

And what's awesome about this grand little operation—that'll be known as Dirty Betty's—is that they'll be making 10 daily flavors of artisan doughnuts. The "pop up" store is set to open Wednesday, and hours will be 7-10am Monday-Friday and 10am-10pm Saturdays.

We're looking forward to flavors like Fresh Banana with Chocolate Nutella Glaze, Blueberry with Lemon Glaze, Chocolate Toffee, Old Fashioned Cinnamon Sugar, Pomegranate Glazed and Ginger Key Lime. Owners Joe Bova and Jeff Steinberg say everything will be made in-house with all natural ingredients. They also made a point to tell us that the treats will be baked, not fried.

Dirty Betty's will also sell light breakfast items and organic/fair trade Alterra Coffee. Doughnuts will be $2-$2.25.
