Why Did Bon V's Liquor License Get Revoked?!

Just a few weeks ago, hip-hop/movie star Common held a party here. And, as everyone knows, Casey Urlacher (brother of Bears star linebacker Brian Urlacher), is one of the owners.

So what exactly happened to Bon V for it to lose its liquor license Monday?!

We made several calls to the venue, but no one ever picked up. So if you know anything, holler at your girl!

UPDATE: A reliable source tells 312DD the license was revoked due to "unpaid state sales taxes." Whoa.

UPDATE 2: Perhaps the reason for the "unpaid state sales taxes" is because the property has been apparently up for sale for the last few weeks. But a revoked liquor license will make doing business difficult for the next owner, whether that property becomes another nightclub or restaurant. They'll have to re-apply all over again, and everyone knows how that works with the state of Illinois . . .

Are they able to serve liquor?! Because interestingly enough I JUST got off the phone with the Illinois Liquor Commission, who told me that the license is still revoked.
