If you think you can handle the heat, sign up for The Southern's first-ever HOT Fried Chicken Eating contest, happening March 22.
If you don't know what HOT fried chicken is, then you haven't visited the South often. The spice is slathered on and incredible, but it doesn't hide the flavor. That's the key.
Anyway, The Southern's amping up its famed yardbird with heat, and they'd better bring IT. If you want to enter the contest, email here. There's a $20 entry fee, and you'll compete for $200 in cash and prizes.
Those wishing to attend the party will also enjoy specials on cocktails and beer. 8pm-2am March 22.
