Tippling Tuesdays: Exploring Chicago's 'Bourbon Trail'

bourbon

A number of popular watering holes have gotten together to host the city's first-ever Chicago's Bourbon Trail.

During each trolley stop, guests will indulge in a bourbon and barrel-aged beer. Fountainhead is one of the eager participants, and expect 10 bourbon flights, including Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project and a special bourbon barrel-aged beer tapping.

Map Room and Long Room are also taking part in the event. Who's conspicuously missing is Delilah's—which has long been considered the gold standard in regards to bourbon-focused bars.

The event kicks off at 1pm on May 19 at Fizz in Lakeview. Get more information and the $25 tickets here (the price does not include the cost of the alcohol).
