We're just dying to hear what new gems will come out of Fabio Viviani's mouth when he kicks off a 16-city book tour with an appearance at Wildfire in River North.
The affable Italian-born chef was voted "Fan Favorite" on TV's most popular culinary competition, and fans will have a chance to meet Viviani as he signs copies of his first book, Café Firenze Cookbook, which should be chockfull of recipes of his restaurant of the same name in Ventura County, Calif.
The free event includes complimentary tastings of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and Santa Margherita Prosecco along with mini-appetizers. The restaurant will also serve the pinot grigio for $10 a glass that evening.
No reservations are being accepted, but since it's a free event, get there early! 6:30-7:45pm July 31.
