New York super chef Marcus Samuelsson, who owns sensational seafood spot C-House in Chicago, is set to host a series of "Top Chef Masters" parties at the Streeterville resto beginning April 14.
But now comes word that David Burke—who will go head to head with Samuelsson on the show next week—will also be doing something special at Primehouse in honor of his appearance.
Each Wednesday throughout the season, they're doing a Top Chef Masters Menu, which will showcase some of Burke's best dishes.
The three-course menu includes the Tableside Caesar Salad, sirloin with garlicky spinach and a warm box of donuts to end the meal. It's $49 on Wednesday, and $67 throughout the rest of the week.
Also, signed copies of David Burke’s New American Classics will be available for $25 every Wednesday (regular price $35).
Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia/Terzo Piano.
In other "Top Chef Masters" news, Spiaggia's Tony Mantuano was the big winner on the season premiere show and moves on to the next round.
He's celebrating by placing the winning dishes on the lunch and dinner menus at his more casual eatery, Terzo Piano, in the Art Institute.
The ravioletto with crescenza cheese and wild mushrooms, as well as chocolate bread pudding with banana-bourbon caramel and Intelligensia coffee ice cream are available, for $10 and $9, respectively, throughout April.
