You know, I was a big, big fan of Bethenny Frankel's lo-cal SkinnyGirl Margarita until I recently found a local, underground version that's made of all fresh ingredients.
Chicago mixologist Daniel de Oliveira came up with his SkinnyTattooedBoy Margarita that's a bit more badass than the original concoction.
Frankel's original recipe (before she started bottling it) called for 2 oz of clear premium tequila, a tiny splash of Triple Sec and juice of three lime wedges. At 4 ounces, it's 100 calories.
But de Oliveira's SkinnyTattooedBoy Margarita just sounds way more tastier: 2 oz Altos Plata, 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice and .25 oz agave nectar clocks in at 200 calories for 5 ounces.
Just think about how many you can suck down as you celebrate Cinco de Mayo. You can catch de Oliveira making them at GT Fish & Oyster Thursday-Saturday.
