312DD got the exclusive details of why Daily Webb severed his ties over at popular Lakeview spot Blokes & Birds more than a week ago:
"We have respectively decided to go our own ways," the former gastropub partner said. "It's important to me that people know that the voice that's coming out of B&B now is no longer my voice. I wish them all the success in the future and whatever direction they decide to take the concept."
What's his next move?!
Webb said that he's currently looking at properties in Lakeview as well as surrounding neighborhoods for a craft-beer concept in a similar fashion of Blokes & Birds.
"With all the craft breweries popping up in Chicago, I definitely want to remain in that vein of the business," he added.

This is so sad. Daily IS Blokes&Birds. Whoever his partner is will likely ruin the place without him. Bring Daily back!!!
Now that he is no longer in control, employees now get their paychecks on time.
If you really did work at Blokes & Birds like I did, you would know that Daily was not responsible or in control of payroll, his not so silent partner was.
