Michael Simon To Leave Acadia

There's been a bit of shuffling in the bartender world lately, with Debbi Peek leaving Balena/The Bristol as well as Charles Joly resigning from The Drawing Room for a career-changing opportunity at The Aviary.
Now comes word that the talented Michael Simon's last day at Acadia is Saturday. He posted to Twitter Thursday:
"My last service at Acadia this Saturday! Come share a cocktail and stay tuned for big news!"
No word yet on what his next opportunity will be, but he created an impressive cocktail program at the South Loop restaurant that will be difficult to top.
Good luck to him!

rumor on the street, hes going to the new spot across from Bangers & Lace opening by the group behind Bedford...
interesting... another spot, you say? so the Bedford group can succeed at night spots where they couldn't succeeed at building hotels.
What happen to the Eater article on Michael Simon ?
