From the guys who brought us the rock-inspired Angels & Kings comes the more grown-up Chuck's Manufacturing, which is set to open in the old China Grill space in mid-September.

The venue, designed by 555 ((N9NE Group, Girl & the Goat, GT Fish & Oyster, Perennial Virant), pays homage to partner Carrie Becker's dad's successful auto industry career. The cocktails do as well—with a few also inspired by the Flavor Factory Vodka Bar.

Here's the first look at the cocktail menu:

Chuck's Cherry Coke
Grey Goose Cherry Noir, Coke, cherry vanilla bitters, drunken cherry

Kingpin
St. Germain, ginger liqueur, basil, sriracha, sparkling wine

Paddle Shifter
Patron Tequila, Midori, coconut, lime juice

Axle
Maker's Mark, lime, blackberries

Shimmy
Reyka Vodka, strawberry, lemon, sparkling wine

Grease Monkey
Sailor Jerry spiced rum, Maestro Dobel tequila, agave, lime

Sway Bar
Bombay Sapphire, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette, lemon

Flywheel
Skyy Citrus Vodka, lime, lemon, cucumber, ginger beer

wow - those drinks are so creative and out of the box cool....really??? Good grief, is this how boring that place is going to be. I also went past there the other day and from what I can see it looks like IKEA threw up in there.
