The Scorcese-themed menu finally debuted Tuesday at iNG.
Available through November, the six- and 10-course menus at the edgy, Warehouse District eatery have been inspired by director/producer Martin Scorcese's most famous films.
What also sets the mood are the staffers dressed up in gangster-era gear, intense scenes projected on one wall (from "Gangs of New York" to "Goodfellas") and familiar music from Scorcese soundtracks pumping through the dining room.

One of the highlights of the menu: 9mm caponata of basil and teleggio that came with a rum-based cocktail served in a pistol mug. (Photo: iNG)
Highlights of the menu included the 9mm caponata of basil and teleggio that came with a rum-based cocktail served in a pistol mug; savory cannoli of veal, onion jam and mascarpone; and The Aviator dessert of chocolate, mint and kaffir lime. The dessert was an homage to the OCD-obsessed billionaire Howard Hughes, and what iNG did with an accompanying box of "tissues" was ingenious and a bit disturbing (I won't ruin the surprise for you!).
What I would have loved to see, however, was Cantu's take on the classic Italian Wedding Soup, which would have been a fun starter and tribute to the wedding scene in "Goodfellas."
Or would that have been too cliched?!
Nevertheless, excellent concept! The menu's six courses for $80 and 10 for $99. Both are paired with beer, cocktails and wine.
