Square One Just May Have The Absolute Best Brunch Offering This Fall

OK, so I am going to tell you something, but you've got to promise to remain calm.

South Loop newbie Square One has teamed up with Waffles for what they're dubbing an adult brunch. Now what that is supposed to mean I don't really care because it's not like they're offering bottomless Mimosas and/or Bellinis.

But what they are bringing to the brunch bunch is a $14.99, all-you-can-eat deal every Sunday that includes breakfast potatoes, cheddar biscuit waffles with spicy sausage gravy, chorizo scrambled eggs, and a waffle station featuring traditional waffles with a choice of apple, blackberry, Nutella, blueberry or strawberry compote. That right there should solve the problem diners have been having with those long-ass waits to get into Waffles.

And remember, Waffles is BYOB, so if you're not in the mood to lug around bottles of booze, just belly up to the bar for $5 Mimosas or Bloody Marys ($6-$7) flavored with chipotle, fish sauce (?!), clam juice, beef bouillon or lemongrass.
