It's Gonna Suck When 'Oprah' Is Over . . .

Photobucket
Movie star Drew Barrymore dined at Frontera Grill Thursday, then picked up pizzettes at Lakeview favorite Socca.

. . . because a lot of celebrities won't have a reason to come to Chicago when her show ends in 2011.

That could possibly include Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Kourtney Kardashian, who were spotted Thursday chowing down at Frontera Grill by owner/chef Rick Bayless, who excitedly tweeted the sighting:

"Drew Barrymore & Cameron Diaz (and Kourtney Kardashian?) n the dining room tonight . . ."

Did they get enough to eat?! Because less than an hour after that sighting, an Ultimate Insider told 312DD Barrymore popped into Lakeview favorite Socca to scoop up $200 worth of pizzettes.

Maybe she's just good people and decided to spring for dinner for her staff, or maybe—as my Ultimate Insider speculated—Barrymore saw Table Fifty-Two's Art Smith gushing about the pizzettes on Food Network's "The Best Thing I Ever Ate."

UPDATE: Tom Cruise and Oprah dined together Thursday at RL, where Cruise had their amazing cheeseburger. Apparently, he was really gracious and stopped by a number of tables to greet fans.

Say what you will about Cruise's religion, but the guy's one of the nicest people around. I met him once five years ago at an L.A. party I co-hosted and he not only warmly greeted me, but was the most gracious guest of the night . . .
