A tasty Tuesday

We've got a heck of a day ahead of us, with a number of cool events guaranteed to put a smile on your face:

It should be warm enough to finally check out the 10-Cane Mojito Garden at Nacional 27. The award-winning mixologist Adam Seger will be whipping up luscious, market-fresh cocktails all summer long.

Last Tuesday, OUTFit, one of Chicago's premier promoters, starting throwing parties at Manor, and it was such a hit that they've decided to do it every week. Deejays spin the usual mash-ups, but it's the sexy crowd that's the biggest attraction. They're accepting RSVPs at outfitevents@yahoo.com or 312-714-2626. 9pm-2am.

Last night I rolled by the ultra-exotic Tizi Melloul, and it was busier than ever. It was probably for the half-price cocktails at the bar. Just imagine how hot that spot will be tonight considering the special is $10 for cocktails, appetizers and a hookah session.

You'll also get mad specials at Feast, the trendy Bucktown eatery that's better to hit at the beginning of the week. If you buy an entree, you get half off on any bottle of wine. It's also BYOB night, so bring on the good stuff!

Sample the new spring/summer menu at Swirl Wine Bar as they host a tasting tonight. The event includes appetizers, 12 different wines and expert commentary by their specialists. 6:30-8:30pm. $25 in advance; $35 at door.

And it's bubbly time at NoMI during the weekly Cellar Notes. Tonight, they're serving sparkling wines and Champagnes, and as always, advanced sommelier Fernando Beteta will guide guests through the tasting that's paired with appetizers. 5:30-7:30pm. $30.
