It's a big weekend for Hollywood types who are on pins and needles for the annual Academy Awards show on Sunday.

But I'm more excited for Adam Seger, who won Moet's first-ever cocktail contest for the famed Oscars' after-party also known as the Governor's Ball.

He stopped by The U's You & Me This Morning to whip up his Moet Red Carpet Glamour that he'll make for hundreds of celebrities at the bash. See him make it right here, so you can re-create it at home for your Oscar-themed party.

Or, if you're going out instead, check out scores of sexy soirees happening around town:

Gene Siskel Film Center: The only "official" Academy Awards party in town, Oscar Night America—Chicago benefits the Gene Siskel Film Center. Party includes a telecast of the awards presented in the center's two state-of-the-art movie theaters, heavy passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and gift bag. $100 (general admission); $200 (VIP). Tickets must be bought in advance right here. 6pm-midnight.

Hotel 71: Vital Bridges also throws a glittering party that's certain to bring out quite a fashionable crowd. They'll hold it in the hotel's 39th floor penthouse grand ballroom, and guests will be treated to appetizers, signature cocktails, a Garrett Popcorn bar, and Sprinkles Cupcakes. Get the advance $40 tickets here; $50 at the door. 5:30-10:30pm.

Lobby Lounge at ShowPlace Icon Theatre: Movie lovers can view the Oscars on five 50-inch HD TVs located throughout the lounge while sipping on the Evening Gown (Voli Lyte, sour, triple sec and Sprite) or Black Tie (Hennessey cognac, Canton ginger, ginger ale). $12 each. Party starts at 7pm.

People Lounge: You can show up casual or glammed up at People Lounge's party, which includes a number of deals for the night. They're doing $3 champagne flutes, $4 Absolut cocktails and $7 specialty cocktails, plus $5 select tapas from 5-7pm. DJ Funky Couture spins during commercial breaks and after the show. No cover, but reservations highly recommended if you want a seat! 5pm-2am.

Rockit Bar & Grill: And Richard Roeper and Billy Dec co-host this Oscar viewing party in River North. For $50, guests get apps of parmesan truffle popcorn, BBQ pork sliders, butternut squash soup shots and more. Plus, there's an open bar of Oscar-themed cocktails. A portion of the proceeds benefits After School Matters. Party starts at 5pm.
