Got your taxes done?!

Great! Now it's time to celebrate with some dining and drinking specials around town:

Brasserie by LM/LM Bistro. Wind down the long, taxing day with $4.15 Kir Royales made with creme de cassis and champagne. If you're expecting to pay out more $$$ this year, you might need a few of these!

Carnivale. Those dining at the Latin fusion restaurant for lunch or dinner on April 15 will get a $15 gift certificate to use on the next visit. It's valid through May 31.

Embeya. For those who finish too late to take advantage of April 15 specials, you're in luck: The French-Thai-focused restaurant launches its lunch program April 16. A good deal in the West Loop, $21 will get you a seasonal, three-course, prix-fixe meal. Right now, chef Thai Dang's doing Wagyu beef with marinated peppers and chili oil as well as a seafood stew made with coconut, lemongrass and ginger.

Frog N Snail. A weekly deal worth checking out is Thursday nights at the hoppin' Lakeview eatery. All-You-Can-Eat Mussels Night happens every Thursday for $20. Chef Dale Levitski's are steamed in fennel, tomato, spring onion and absinthe, and arrive with a side of frites and Schlitz draft beer.

Little Market Brasserie. Here's a little secret that few people in the Gold Coast know about: LMB offers a special happy hour menu every day. If you order a cocktail, glass of wine or beer, you'll get a complimentary order of Deviled eggs, mini sunchoke salad, mini ceviche, mini poutine, fries, or mac and cheese. It's offered 5-7pm in the lounge and main bar.

Tavern on Rush. The Gold Coast mainstay fetes its 15th anniversary with deep discounts on April 15 only. Fifteen bucks will get you a choice of two bottles of wine, as well as a ribeeye steak club sandwich (which comes with a bottle of Stella Artois); petite filet Mignon with bacon-cheddar mashed potatoes and spinach; grilled salmon or chicken caprese; and BBQ pork baby back ribs.
